This nationally recognised training is designed for companies wishing to develop their Emergency Response Team. It provides participants with the essential knowledge and skills to operate safely within emergency and rescue situations and contributes toward the RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue.
Core HS (RTO: 51887) delivers training exclusively to enterprise clients. Training is arranged by employers on behalf of their personnel, with detailed course information provided directly to the client prior to delivery.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE & RESCUE TRAINING
First Aid
This cluster of units provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to deliver first aid in emergency response and high-risk work environments. Training focuses on immediate life-saving interventions, casualty assessment and management, and effective response to medical emergencies.
Training is delivered to enterprise clients in site-based environments. Assessment includes practical demonstration and knowledge-based activities. These units are nationally recognised and are delivered and assessed in accordance with training package requirements.

Breathing Apparatus
This cluster of units provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely operate open-circuit breathing apparatus in emergency response environments. Training focuses on equipment preparation, correct fitting and use, operational safety, injury prevention, and the inspection, maintenance, and testing of response equipment to ensure readiness for emergency operations.
Training is delivered to enterprise clients in site-based environments. Assessment includes practical demonstration and knowledge-based activities. These units are nationally recognised and are delivered and assessed in accordance with training package requirements. Some units form part of an integrated training program and may not be delivered or assessed as standalone units.

This cluster of units provides participants with knowledge and skills required to identify, assess, and manage hazardous materials incidents safely. Training focuses on hazard recognition, detection and monitoring techniques, risk control measures, and actions required to render hazardous materials incidents safe while maintaining personal and team safety.
Training is delivered to enterprise clients in site-based environments. Assessment includes practical demonstration and knowledge-based activities. These units are nationally recognised and are delivered and assessed in accordance with training package requirements. Some units form part of an integrated training program and may not be delivered or assessed as standalone units.

Road Crash Rescue
This cluster of units provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely respond to road crash incidents as part of a rescue team. Training focuses on scene safety, hazard control, casualty access and extrication, effective communication, and coordinated rescue operations to support the safe management of vehicle-related incidents.
Training is delivered to enterprise clients in site-based environments. Assessment includes practical demonstration and knowledge-based activities. These units are nationally recognised and are delivered and assessed in accordance with training package requirements. Fire Operations
This cluster of units provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to respond to fire and emergency incidents as part of an organised fire team. Training focuses on safe work practices, teamwork, communication, risk management, and coordinated response to fires and local emergency incidents in operational and worksite environments.

This cluster provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to operate effectively as part of a fire and emergency response team. Training focuses on safe work practices, teamwork, communication, risk management, and coordinated response to fire and emergency incidents in operational environments.

Training focuses on rope systems, anchor setup, casualty management, and safe work practices to enable effective rescue from heights and confined vertical environments as part of a coordinated response team.

Wildfire
This cluster provides participants with the knowledge and skills to respond to and actively suppress wildfire incidents in emergency response environments. Training focuses on situational awareness, hazard identification, safe work practices, and the use of wildfire suppression techniques and equipment. Participants will develop the ability to work effectively as part of a coordinated response team to control and contain wildfires while maintaining personal and team safety.

Aviation Firefighting
This cluster provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to respond safely and effectively to aviation-related incidents. This cluster provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely operate the BG4 self-contained regenerative oxygen breathing apparatus. Training focuses on equipment checks, correct fitting and operation, duration and workload management, and safe work practices to enable effective response in hazardous or oxygen-deficient atmospheres while maintaining personal and team safety.

BG ProAir
This cluster provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely operate the BG ProAir self-contained compressed air breathing apparatus. Training focuses on pre-use checks, correct fitting and operation, air management, and safe work practices to enable effective response in hazardous atmospheres while maintaining personal and team safety.

This cluster provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to conduct underground searches, extricate casualties, and establish and operate from a fresh air base during underground emergency incidents. Training focuses on safe search techniques, casualty location and recovery, fresh air base setup and management, and effective coordination within a response team to support safe and controlled underground operations.
